Our client is seeking a strategic and dynamic Head of Human Resources to lead and oversee all HR functions within their organization. This role is critical in shaping a culture of excellence, driving talent acquisition, and aligning HR strategies with organizational goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership:

    • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company's vision and objectives.
    • Provide guidance to senior management on workforce planning and talent development.
  • Talent Management:

    • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies.
    • Implement performance management systems to enhance employee productivity.
  • Employee Relations:

    • Foster a positive workplace culture through effective communication and engagement initiatives.
    • Address and resolve employee grievances and conflicts.
  • Compliance and Policies:

    • Ensure compliance with labor laws and organizational policies.
    • Regularly review and update HR policies and procedures.
  • Learning and Development:

    • Design and implement training programs to enhance employee skills.
    • Support leadership development initiatives across the organization.
  • HR Operations:

    • Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS management.
    • Monitor HR metrics and generate reports for decision-making.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of South African labor laws and compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, and organizational development.
  • HR certification such as SHRM-CP, CIPD, or equivalent is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
