About the Role - What You'll Be Doing:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils who may need help with accessing the curriculum, building confidence, or developing social and communication skills. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised strategies and provide consistent encouragement, helping pupils reach their full potential.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting pupils with a range of needs, including those with EHCPs and social communication difficulties

Encouraging independence, motivation, and resilience in learning

Assisting with the implementation of personalised learning plans

Helping to create a calm, safe, and inclusive classroom environment

Supporting pupils with transitions throughout the day and across learning tasks

Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

This role may involve working within the school's Special Support Centre, as well as in mainstream classroom settings.

What We're Looking For:

Experience supporting children with SEN or additional learning needs (essential)

A caring, patient, and adaptable approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Passion for inclusive education and child development

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
