RG Consultancy are working with a large logistics company based in Crewe who are recruiting an Assistant Management Accountant. You will support the Management Accountant in ensuring accurate financial reporting. You will join a medium sized finance team and work within the department to support continuing growth and support ongoing improvements.

The Role

• Assisting in preparation of the monthly management accounts
• Accruals, prepayments, monthly journals
• Maintenance of fixed asset register
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Profit and loss
• Assisting in monitoring the financial performance of the company
• Assisting in implementing change and ongoing improvements for efficiency
• Assisting in year end and audit preparations

The Person

• Part qualified CIMA/ACCA or studying towards
• At least 2 years experience within a similar assistant/management accounting role
• Experience with SAGE is an advantage
• Strong IT & MS Excel skills
• Basic maths and written skills are essential
