HSEQ Assistant - Renewable Energy

Up to £29,000 (DOE)

Hybrid/Remote Working - Site based travel across the UK

MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a dedicated and detail-oriented HSEQ Assistant to support the HSEQ team in maintaining and enhancing safety, environmental, and quality performance. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and best practices.

As HSEQ Assistant, you will be responsible for:

Assist the HSEQ team with the day-to-day requirements of the companies integrated management system and co-ordinate specialist administration such as risk assessment reviews and procedures.
Update system information as requested, ensuring that the Master Document List is maintained and updated as necessary
 To be the first point of contact for gas detection alerts
Assist with completion of asset management registers and PPM requirements
Compile and organise COMPEX / ATEX and PUWER documentation
Organise and update the CDM Health and Safety File - assist in providing the documentation support for live CDM projects.
Assist with emergency planning and response drills, tests and scenario planning
Assist with the co-ordination and presentation of HSEQ audit information
 Co-ordinate with site managers, finance team and the HSE Team
Liaise with sites to ensure that Action Plan and inspection findings are completed
To assist clients in booking and organising specific site requirements such as PSSR statutory inspections and LOLER inspections
Collation of data from multiple sources, including Excel and Smartsheet's for further analysis
Occasional travel to sites UK wide to assist the HSEQ Team with surveys, documentation reviews, assessments, calibrations, audits and inspection
Other duties as required
To be considered for this role you should have:

A relevant degree or diploma in HSEQ, Environmental Science, or a related field
Must hold at least 2 years' experience working with ISO management systems (phone number removed)
Experience maintaining ISO requirements within the Renewable Energy industry
Experience of co-ordinating asset management data or collation of information via a variety of sources is also preferable
Knowledge of HSEQ regulations and best practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HSEQ management software
