Our client, a leading Top 50 UK accountancy practice, is seeking a qualified Accounts and Outsourcing Senior to join their expanding Business Services department in London. This is an exciting opportunity to advance your career within a supportive and dynamic organisation that puts individuals at the heart of its business.

Position Overview

As an Accounts and Outsourcing Senior, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial statements and management accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients. Working collaboratively within small teams, you'll have the opportunity to make a tangible impact, providing expert advice and support to clients while guiding and developing junior team members.

Responsibilities

  • Produce accurate financial statements and well-presented working papers
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on financial matters
  • Review the work of trainees and junior staff for accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare VAT returns and management accounts
  • Leverage accounting software to optimise operations and reporting
  • Assist with ad hoc specialist assignments as required

Requirements

  • Fully qualified ACA or ACCA
  • Proven experience in accounts production using various accounting packages
  • Strong ability to multi-task and work to budgets
  • Proficiency in Sage and QuickBooks software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good time management and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Flexible attitude with the ability to prioritise workloads
