An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Structural Engineer to join a leading contractor renowned for delivering technically challenging construction and refurbishment projects across London. This is a senior, hands-on position offering real influence over project outcomes from pre-construction through to delivery.

As Senior Structural Engineer, you'll lead the technical aspects of both temporary works and permanent works CDP items. Acting as a subject matter expert, you'll engage with clients, consultants, and internal teams—balancing technical precision with practical site delivery.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

Proactively address engineering challenges to prevent operational disruption

*

Ensure quality systems and project-specific plans are fully implemented

*

Review site and tender proposals, identifying risks and engineering solutions

*

Spot and develop value engineering opportunities

*

Oversee and carry out thorough design checks in accordance with internal TW procedures

*

Engage constructively with operational teams, even when technical viewpoints differ

📐 Requirements:

*

Chartered or near Chartered with ICE or IStructE

*

Degree in a relevant structural or civil engineering discipline

*

Strong communicator with confidence in technical discussions

*

Minimum BBB at A-Level
