We're looking for a SEND Science Teacher for a part-time role at a specialist school in Plymouth, and we need someone who is passionate about inclusive education..

About the Role:

You'll be teaching science in a way that makes it accessible, exciting, and meaningful for students with additional needs. With a flexible part-time working pattern, you'll have time to focus on delivering creative, individualised lessons that truly resonate with each student's learning style.

What You'll Be Doing:

* Igniting a love for science by planning and delivering fun, engaging lessons tailored to the needs of your students.

* Creating a safe, nurturing space where students feel valued and supported, helping them overcome barriers and develop confidence.

* Collaborating with a talented team of teaching assistants, specialists and the wider learning team to provide each student with the support they need to thrive.

* Monitoring student progress and celebrating each achievement, no matter how big or small. Your feedback will help shape their educational journey.

Who We're Looking For:

* You're a qualified teacher (QTS) with a background in science, but more importantly, you have a heart for SEND education.

* You've got experience working in a SEND environment have a good understanding of how to support students with additional learning needs.

* Patience, empathy, and a knack for thinking outside the box.

* You know how to adapt lessons on the fly and manage behaviours in a way that encourages growth and engagement.
