As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking to expand our service team with a skilled and motivated Electrical Biased Service Engineer.

Role Overview:

As an Electrical Biased Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's aquaculture systems. Your primary responsibility will be to provide on-site and remote technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for electrical and electronic equipment. This role requires a hands-on approach, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical and electronic systems within aquaculture facilities.

* Provide technical support and advice to the operations team, both remotely and on-site.

* Perform diagnostics and fault-finding on equipment such as control systems, sensors, and motors.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement upgrades and modifications to existing systems.

* Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations at all times.

* Document service activities, including maintenance reports, service records, and technical feedback.

* Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment at client sites.

* Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve service delivery.

Key Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Service Engineer with an electrical bias, preferably within the aquaculture, marine, or industrial sectors.

* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, sensors, and control systems.

* Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in challenging environments.

* Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.

* Willingness to travel frequently and work in remote locations as required.

* A valid driver's license and the ability to operate company vehicles.

Desirable Qualifications:

* HNC/HND or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

* Experience with aquaculture systems or similar industrial equipment.

* Familiarity with health and safety regulations relevant to the role.
