We are looking for an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to join one of the UK's largest Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) contractors, based in Oxford. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a commercial scheme starting in April. The successful candidate will work alongside Tier 1 contractors such as Ardmore, Bouygues, and Balfour Beatty on high-profile residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage all electrical construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project specifications, schedules, and budgets.

* Oversee and coordinate the work of electrical teams and subcontractors, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and performance.

* Collaborate with project managers, site managers, and other teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

* Monitor progress, resolve issues, and provide technical support to ensure electrical installations are completed to the highest standards.

* Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site.

* Review and approve electrical plans, methods, and cost estimates, ensuring they align with project goals.

* Conduct site inspections and ensure all electrical systems meet relevant industry regulations and codes.

* Maintain regular communication with clients, contractors, and stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns.

Requirements:

* Significant experience as an Electrical Construction Manager, with a strong background in managing both residential and commercial electrical projects.

* Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to oversee and coordinate electrical teams and subcontractors effectively.

* In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, regulations, and installation processes.

* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

* Experience working with Tier 1 contractors is highly desirable.

* 17th/18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations qualification required.

* SMSTS or equivalent certification preferred
