A leading global law firm requires an exceptional client relationship management specialist to work in partnership with their Managing Relationship Partners, global client teams and the broader partnership to build and deepen client relationships with the firm’s priority Funds & Financial Investors Group clients.

The successful applicant will be welcomed into a globally diverse and friendly business development and marketing team, who are focused on driving revenue growth, strengthening reputation and nurturing client relationships. The team works closely with lawyers to create, develop and execute BD and marketing initiatives to deliver the firm’s strategy and works with the business to sell the firm’s expertise to clients and generate revenue for the firm. Working alongside the Funds & Financial Investors Group Business Manager, the Client Relationship Manager will be part of the FFIG leadership team and will directly support Managing Relationship Partners to build and deepen client relationships with the group’s priority clients. You will work across the firm’s international network and draw on all available resources across the firm, to strengthen client relationships with the ultimate objective of driving profitable revenue growth through cross-selling more of the firm’s practices and offices. Acting as the lead 'go-to’ point of contact for effective relationship management and development, the role holder will be responsible for facilitating the expansion of existing relationships and protecting existing revenue streams by building stronger and deeper relationships, identifying new opportunities and helping partners to win new business. You will be expected to position the firm by defining and promoting the firm’s expertise with key influencers within priority clients in accordance with the firm’s strategy, strategic initiatives and relevant market-driven themes. The Client Relationship Manager will enjoy a broad role supporting all aspects of the client experience framework and account management. This will include the development of proactive business development activity aligned to client plan objectives and the firm’s strategy, identifying and creating business growth opportunities out of market and sector developments, overseeing the delivery of market-leading and differentiating value-added services to clients, contributing to the delivery of pitches related to priority clients, managing fee negotiations and ensuring the best practice delivery of focused global relationship development and value-adding account management.

This firm are looking for the brightest talents out there so you will need to have proven knowledge and experience of business development in a professional services or partnership environment, ideally within an international law firm, to include demonstrable success working in a dedicated client account role, preferably in the Private Equity or Funds and Financial Investor space. Client service focused and a highly-motivated self-starter with a flexible attitude and willingness to learn, the Client Relationship Manager will require a high degree of commercial acumen and outstanding communication skills in order to liaise effectively at all levels with both partners and clients. First-hand experience of working within a fund or investment bank will also be highly advantageous.
