Job Title: Band 6 Locum Occupational Therapist - Rehab and Recovery Ward

Location: Shrewsbury

Job Type: 3 - 5 days per week

Start Date: ASAP

Job Overview:

* A registered Occupational therapist is required to assess and treat patients requiring ward-based rehabilitation and assessment for discharge planning.

* Experience of working independently and at pace is required to ensure proactive discharge planning and robust and effective treatment plans are in place.

* The person will be part of a therapy team including a rehab technician and a physiotherapist. Experience of community-based pathways would also be desirable to ensure length of stay is optimal.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Degree in Occupational Therapy

* HCPC registration as a Occupational Therapist

* Previous NHS experience
