SEN Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Do you have a desire to make a real difference in the lives of children with diverse learning needs? Join our dedicated team at Twenty4Seven as an SEN Teaching Assistant and play a key role in helping students thrive in an inclusive and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN, including physical, emotional, and learning disabilities.

* Assist teachers in delivering differentiated lessons tailored to students' individual needs.

* Help with classroom management, ensuring a safe and productive environment.

* Support the development of students' social and emotional skills, fostering independence and self-confidence.

* Assist with personal care and mobility for students who require it.

* Monitor student progress and contribute to the development of tailored learning plans.

* Work closely with SENCOs, teachers, and other support staff to ensure the best outcomes for students.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Experience working with children or young people with SEN is highly desirable.

* A relevant qualification in Special Educational Needs, Education, or Child Development (e.g., SEN Teaching Assistant certification or equivalent) is beneficial.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.

* A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to supporting students.

* Ability to remain calm and resilient in challenging situations.

* Enhanced DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service) required.
