Are you passionate about nurturing young minds and providing a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow? We are seeking dedicated and caring Nursery Practitioners to join our new Setting in Stoke Newington!

Following demand for Jan 2024 this nursery is growing fast and would love to grow their already successful team. Our aim is to create a warm, welcoming and inclusive setting that fosters a love for learning, curiosity and development. We value the unique qualities of each child and strive to provide them with the best possible start in life.

Based in the heart of Stoke Newington just a short walk away from the station and easily accessible by bus.

Responsibilities of a Nursery Practitioner

As a Nursery Practitioner you will play a key role in providing high-quality care and education to children.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Creating and implementing engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.

* Ensuring the safety and well-being of the children at all times, maintaining a secure and nurturing environment.

* Building strong relationships with children and their families, ensuring effective communication

* Observing and recording children's progress, identifying areas for development, and planning individual learning journeys.

Requirements

To be successful in this Nursery Practitioner role you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

* Hold a relevant childcare qualification e.g. NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare

* Demonstrated passion for working with children and a genuine interest in their development and well-being

* Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework

* Strong communication skills, both with children and parents and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
