Requirements:

* Have a minimum of 3 months relevant experience (working with children or vulnerable adults) which can be referenced

* Have a valid, enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to get one)

* Be registered (or willing to register) with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)

* Be a passionate practitioner with the desire to improve the education outcomes for all pupils

* Have excellent organisational skills and be able to communicate effectively at all levels

* Be able to support and promote the ethos of the school

Duties:

* Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher

* Follow lesson plans and ensure that students complete assigned work

* Maintain a positive and productive learning environment

* Manage student behaviour and enforce school policies

* Provide support and assistance to students as needed

* Communicate with teachers, parents, and school administrators regarding student progress and behaviour

* Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times
