Job Title: Restaurant Manager

ZAR30000 - ZAR40000 Per month
Job Duties:
- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant
- Manage staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction through excellent service
- Implement policies and procedures to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and quality food production
- Meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, and scheduling expenditures
Required Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong understanding of food and beverage industry regulations
- Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations
Education:
Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in restaurant management and 5* luxury environments
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of restaurant software for inventory management and POS systems
- Strong financial acumen
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Food Safety and Hygiene
- Additional language proficiency
