Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum (pro-rata)

SEND Inclusion Support is seeking an experienced Senior Leader for SEND to join one of our partner schools in the Truro area. The school caters to primary and secondary-aged students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, communication difficulties, and associated challenging behaviours. This is an immediate start position, offered on a temporary or interim basis, turning permanent.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage SEND provisions, ensuring tailored support for students with SEMH, communication difficulties, and challenging behaviours.

* Collaborate with the school's leadership team to implement inclusive practices and strategies that promote positive outcomes for all learners.

* Oversee the development and implementation of SEND policies in line with current legislation and best practices.

* Support teaching staff in managing and addressing complex behavioural challenges and enhancing the learning experience for SEND students.

* Work closely with parents, external agencies, and stakeholders to ensure holistic support for students.

Who We're Looking For: We are particularly interested in candidates who have:

* SENCo qualification, or

* Experience as an Assistant Head or Deputy Head with a focus on SEND and SEMH.

Essential Requirements:

* Experience working in a senior leadership role within an SEND or mainstream setting, particularly with students facing SEMH and behavioural challenges.

* Proven track record of implementing successful SEND strategies.

* Strong understanding of SEND legislation and best practices.

* Ability to start immediately.
