Salary: £34,278.40 plus Veolia benefits

Hours: 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday 7am - 3.30pm - with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break - Monthly paid

Optional overtime available evenings and weekends during busy periods

Our Marchwood Marine & Waste Management Facility plays a crucial role in handling both hazardous and non-hazardous waste management operations.

What will you be doing?

With one of the largest growing fleets in the UK, our drivers are pivotal to delivering essential services. They work hard to serve their local communities and make a positive impact every day.
  • Operating multiple vehicle types including Skip Trucks, RORO vehicles, FEL vehicles, and Curtainsiders with tail lifts
  • Managing waste collections including hazardous materials, skips, and food waste
  • Handling specialized equipment for waste processing
  • Assist with the processing of bags of food waste and crushed glass
  • Processing documentation and maintaining accurate records
  • Responding to time-sensitive waste collection requests from Southampton Docks
  • Contributing to workplace safety initiatives
  • Coordinating with internal and external disposal sites

What are we looking for?
  • Valid HGV Class 2 License
  • ADR licence or commitment to complete ADR certification (hazardous goods transport)
  • Current Driver CPC qualification - annual training is also provided
