About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Building Services Manager to join a Tier 1 main contractor in Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-profile, large-scale education project, collaborating with an established project team and reporting directly to the Head of Building Services.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) building services on-site, ensuring project specifications and quality standards are met.

*

Work closely with design teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to coordinate building services installations.

*

Monitor project progress, budgets, and compliance with health & safety regulations.

*

Provide technical expertise and problem-solving support throughout the project lifecycle.

*

Ensure effective communication between site teams, contractors, and consultants.

Requirements

*

Proven experience working with a main contractor or specialist M&E contractor.

*

Background in managing building services on large-scale projects.

*

Strong knowledge of M&E systems, regulations, and industry best practices.

*

Excellent project coordination, communication, and leadership skills.
