Learning Support Assistant - SEN School (Long Eaton)

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We're looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a fantastic SEN school in Long Eaton, providing vital support to students with a range of additional needs.

Location: Long Eaton, NG10
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £83.85 - £90 Per Day

The Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students both in the classroom and during activities, helping them to access learning in a way that suits their individual needs. You'll work closely with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key responsibilities:
✅ Providing one-to-one and small group support to students with special educational needs.
✅ Assisting in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
✅ Supporting students with communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation.
✅ Encouraging independence and confidence in learning.
✅ Helping to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.

What We're Looking For:

✔️ Experience working with children or young people, ideally within an SEN setting.
✔️ A caring and patient approach, with excellent communication skills.
✔️ The ability to work well as part of a team and adapt to different learning styles.
✔️ A commitment to supporting students to reach their full potential.
✔️ Any relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, SEN experience) are desirable but not essential.
