Operations Supervisor

Inspire Resourcing are currently an Operations Supervisor on behalf of our client in Chesterfield.

* Ensuring the timely receipt and dispatch of all goods

* Supervising and working alongside the Warehouse and Production Operatives to ensure all duties are carried out effectively and efficiently.

* Monitoring stock levels and ensuring that inventory is managed with the utmost accuracy.

* Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are adhered to at all times.

* Overseeing the upkeep of the Warehouse and Production areas, including maintaining equipment and conducting regular inspections.

* Participating in regular team meetings to ensure goals are being met and to identify areas for continuous improvement.

* Training and mentoring staff to improve their skills and development.

Requirements:

* Experience as an Operations Team Leader, Warehouse Team Leader, or a similar role preferred.

* Strong leadership and communication skills.

* Excellent organisational and time management skills.

* Ability to work under pressure and manage a small team.

* Knowledge of inventory management software; experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred.

* Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

* FLT Reach Licence preferred - occasional forklift operation is required (training and licence can be provided to the successful candidate)
