We are looking for a skilled CNC Turner to join their dynamic team in Ashton-under-Lyne.

Job Description:

Position Summary: As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for setting up, operating CNC Lathes with Live tooling to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications. Proficiency in programming on ONECNC is an essential part of this role. You will work closely with the production team to ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC Lathes to perform precision machining operations.
Program using ONECNC software to create and modify part programs.
Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine appropriate machine methods.
Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or deviations from specifications, making necessary adjustments.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure they meet quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all health and safety regulations.Qualifications:

Proven experience as a CNC Turner in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in programming CNC machines using ONECNC software.
Strong understanding of CNC Lathe operations and programming.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work different shifts if required.Desirable:

Apprenticeship or vocational training in CNC machining or related field.
