We are working with an excellent large blue-chip company who we have been working in partnership with for a while.
They have a vacancy in their international payroll team for a European payroller. This company is HQ'd in Manchester. They have a gorgeous office right in the middle of the city, and the requirement is 2 days per week in the office. They may consider 1 day per week, though it is not their preferred

The person they need

  • Strong payroll experience and knowledge in any given European territory
  • Fluent German or French, Italian or Spanish
  • Knowledge of German or local payroll issues, such as some knowledge of the benefits and tax codes etc. within the country
  • Someone with good Excel skills


Duties:

  • Sitting within the payroll team and supporting employees who are on the international payroll
  • Co-operating closely with HR to roll out and manage benefit schemes and other deductions
  • Performing transactional payroll activities
  • Providing a great service to these internal employees and answering their queries
  • Dealing with expenses and travel reimbursements
  • Processing changes of salary, changes of tax codes etc.
  • Dealing with pension and private health deductions and submissions
  • Liaising with their outsourced payroll provider
  • Extracting necessary information for the payroll provider to process
