Job title: Data Cabling Engineer / Data Cable EngineerLocation: Bedford, Bedfordshire Salary: £180 per day (CIS, Limited Company or PAYE - contractor can choose)Pay frequency: WeeklyStandard hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-4pmDuration: 3 months initiallyStart date: ASAP Role We are assisting a successful company that specialises in the installation of copper and fibre network cabling, mostly internal works, who supply data cabling services to a variety of different customers, such as schools, hospitals, retail etc. Essential requirements

• A good structured cabling background
• Cat6 / Cat6a installation, cable pulling & termination.
• Familiar with the installation and termination of all types of copper cables
• Familiar with the deployment of WiFi hardware
• Good understanding of health and safety practice, preferably supported with an CSCS or ECS card
• Previous experience operating as a Data Cabling Engineer
• Able to work in a team or alone
• An energetic work ethic, focussed on a positive and timely outcome
• Able to work in England without requiring sponsorship or the processing of a work visa

 Nice to have

• Installation of Trunking and various other containment
• Ability to read drawings
• Understanding of all aspect of network installations
