The role:

As a member of our already existing sales and marketing team your key duties will include

  • Liaising with the customer support team and marketing & social media team to help generate interest in a range of business products
  • Dealing with incoming calls and emails from current and potential customers regarding EDClass subscriptions
  • Contacting and converting clicks from emails, websites and social media campaigns to enquiries
  • Encouraging people that have enquired about products and services to book a demonstration
  • Contacting people that have been sent a price proposal to submit a completed order form
  • Tracking and keeping potential customer details up to date on the Zoho Management System.
  • Ensuring management and senior management are kept updated with data from the Zoho system upon request
  • Manage and keep on top of a daily workload, prioritising your tasks and keeping in regular contact with potential customers
  • Attending roadshows, events and conferences to generate leads
  • Organising postal campaigns

The person:

We are looking for a confident and professional individual to join an existing sales team to provide mainly office-based support in a well-established team environment. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other sales team members, and at times independently, to assist the team reach their individual KPI’s and team targets.

Person specificaion essentials:

  • Experience in selling to educational facilities
  • Due to the nature of the role and data you will have access to, you must be eligible to gain a FULL and ENHANCED DBS check
  • Previous experience in a competitive sales position
  • Capability of "closing a sale"
  • Maths and English GCSE Level C or above - Or equivalent
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to speak to professionals of all levels
  • Intermediate or better understanding of Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to multi task
  • Flexible and motivated team member
  • Follow instruction and be prepared to develop and grow
  • Full and also clean driving license

Desirable:

  • The ability to think on their feet
  • Knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum
  • Knowledge of safeguarding

Working hours: 8.30am - 5pm, Monday -Friday with 30-minute lunch break.
