Salary: £50000 - £60000/annum pension, ote, commission

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team. This role is not only pivotal in driving new business opportunities but also in mentoring and developing our talented team members.

These roles will initially be from offices in Hereford but individuals need to be comfortable with travel across the UK for events and client visits when not over Teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Hunt for New Business - Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the sectors operates in through market research, cold calling, networking, and direct outreach.
Sales Leadership - Lead high-level sales initiatives, including negotiations, contract discussions, and closing deals with major clients.
Coaching and Mentoring - Provide guidance, coaching and mentoring to junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
Sales Strategy Execution - Develop and implement stretching sales strategies to achieve the companies sales goals and revenue targets.
Client Acquisition - Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients, focusing on onboarding new clients and expanding market share.
Sales Presentations and Proposals - Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations tailored to prospective clients' needs.
Deal Negotiation and Closing - Negotiate contracts and close deals with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Market Intelligence - Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
Collaboration - Work closely with other teams in to ensure alignment of sales strategies with marketing initiatives.
Reporting - Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the management team, showcasing achievements and areas for growth.
Industry Engagement - Attend industry events, conferences, and exhibitions to promote .

About You

The ideal candidate will have/be:

Extensive experience in a sales or Business Development role, leading high-level sales initiatives.
Proven experience in mentoring and developing team members, with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Proven track record of hunting for and closing new business opportunities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to make data-driven decisions.
Be able to build an in-depth understanding of payment services and explain technical solutions in a non-technical way.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Have a professional approach to sales techniques which align to 's core values.
Strong ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
Self-motivated with a relentless drive for results and a strategic mindset.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Ability to travel as needed.
