SEMH Teaching Assistant - Lewisham Do you have experience working with children/young people with SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health) difficulties?Remedy Education are looking for committed individuals for an SEN School in Lewisham.Details: Location - Lewisham Position - SEMH Teaching AssistantStart Date - ASAPDuration / Likely Duration - OngoingFull time/Part-time - Full TimeContract Type: Long termHours - 08:30am - 3:30pmPay rate - £95 - £110 per day Experience: Relevant experience in a school or similar setting.Experience of working with children and young people with special educational needs and/or social, emotional and mental health difficulties.Experience of effectively and positively managing a class and leading learning with groups of pupils, using appropriate strategies to enable them to settle to learn.Experience of using restorative practicesTraining and Qualifications: GCSE English/Maths at grade A to C or equivalent.Level 3 qualification.Level 4 qualification.Specific training in interventions/SEN/SEMH.Commitment to all CPD offered.TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH REMEDY, YOU MUST:Hold Right to Work in the UKHold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new applicationProvide two professional related referencesOTHERIf you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
