Hazardous Area Electrician

Location: Various UK locations, ideally within 30 miles of Knowsley (Merseyside), Perth (Scotland), or Avonmouth (Bristol).

Join a leading off-grid energy distributor specialising in liquid gas solutions. With over 30 years of experience, our client is driving the energy transition to lower carbon solutions and aiming for 100% renewable energy by 2040.

Role Overview:

Install, maintain, inspect, and test LPG/LNG plants across the UK.
Perform both on-site and off-site electrical assembly.
Key Responsibilities:

Install new LPG/LNG plants.
Conduct electrical inspections and rectifications.
Upgrade existing installations.
Assemble electrical components off-site.
Qualifications:

Approved electrician (JIB Graded Gold card or above).
Compex modules EX01-4 or IECEx COPC Modules EX001-8.
C&G 2391 or equivalent for Inspection and Testing.
18th Edition certification.
CCSNG/JIB or equivalent Safety passport.
Proficient in IECEx/Atex rated equipment installation.
Familiar with schematic, loop, P&ID, and zone drawings.

Desirable:

NICEIC reporting familiarity.
IPAF & PASMA licenses.

Additional Information:

Average of 3 nights away from home per week, with accommodation and meals provided.
