Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Computer Science Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team. This full-time, long-term position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' learning experiences. The successful candidate will work closely with the Computer Science department, supporting both teachers and students to achieve academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist Computer Science teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students to enhance their understanding of computer science concepts.
Help prepare teaching materials and resources for lessons.
Support students with coursework, projects, and exam preparation.
Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative teaching strategies and classroom activities.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Assist in the setup and maintenance of computer lab equipment and software.
Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.Requirements:

A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Strong knowledge of computer science principles and programming languages.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and students.
Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred but not required.
