Teaching Assistant - Secondary School - Bromley

Role Overview

As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide essential support to students and teachers, helping to create an inclusive and productive learning environment. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for education and a commitment to supporting young people.

Key Responsibilities

Assist teachers in delivering lessons and supporting student learning
Provide one-to-one or small group support to students who require additional help
Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
Support students with special educational needs where required
Work closely with teachers and other school staff to implement lesson plans and learning strategies
Supervise students during non-classroom activities, such as break times and school outings

Requirements

Previous experience working with children or young people (in a school or related setting)
A valid DBS on the update service
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A patient and proactive approach to working with students
Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions from teaching staff

Salary

Pay will be dependent on experience.
