EA Associates are recruiting on behalf of a Social Housing Contractor based in the south Essex area.

Requirements:

* Minimum of 5 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor

* Social housing / refurbishment experience (contractor or client side considered)

* Degree within Quantity Surveying - desirable

* Understanding of NHF / Schedule of Rates

Role Overview:

* Prepare and dispatch tender packages to subcontractors

* Set up job files and all necessary records

* Collate sub-contractor tenders and in consultation with the Contracts Manager, award subcontracts

* Liaise with subcontractors to resolve queries

* Assess and cost variations to contract

* Update and maintain records

* Assist with contract valuations

* Assist with monthly cost/value reconciliations
