Salary: £60,000 per annum + Benefits + Company Car/Car Allowance 

A key client of ours is currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager within the South Central and South West Region. Our client is open to candidates being based in either of the following locations, Swindon, Reading, Guildford, Southampton or Salisbury. 

You will be responsible for managing the delivery of agreed sales targets within South regions. 

Our client is looking for a candidate with at least 5 years business development experience. 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Manage revenue growth and deliver sales targets within own region and the regions of direct reports
  • Maximise product sales within own region and the regions of direct reports
  • Plan and execute sales, marketing and distribution activities within own region and the regions of direct reports
  • Deliver the agreed distribution requirements with an assigned region(s) for each product provider to whom the Division is contracted
  • Maintain and develop client relationships: Brokers and Product Providers within own assigned region(s) and region(s) of direct reports where applicable
  • Update the core system with appropriate data relating to clients and business activities, as directed
  • Complete all development tasks on time and to a high standard
  • Attend events as and when required promoting the business
  • Deliver agreed ad-hoc projects and reports within a specified time

Qualifications & Requirements: 

  • ACII desirable not essential 
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel and Outlook) or similar software applications.
  • Ability to manage time, prioritise and ensure that deadlines are met without compromising quality.
  • Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing with clients, insurers and other associates.
