JOB TITLE: Development Engineer

LOCATION: Oxfordshire

Salary: £35,000 - £42,000

WAY OF WORKING: Full-Time | Office Based | Permanent

THE BUSINESS:

Zero Global is working with a global engineering business that has a focus of sustainability, they a big in the manufacturing space and are rapidly growing.

Development Engineer:

As an integral part of a team of specialists, you will be involved in engineering projects aimed at developing and enhancing products and manufacturing processes — from initial ideas and concepts, through development, and ultimately to implementation.

Key Skills & Duties:

• Utilize CAD software (SolidWorks) to design components, tools, and machine parts, incorporating:

  • Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles

  • Creation of detailed technical drawings

• Evaluate and validate new product specifications to ensure feasibility and performance.

• Develop and document manufacturing standards and product specifications.

• Facilitate the transfer of technology to manufacturing plants by preparing comprehensive documentation, supporting commissioning activities, and demonstrating compliance with dimensional and performance criteria.
