We are working with a top tier main contractor who are seeking a Site Agent to work on a Flood Alleviation scheme on a full time basis. As the Site Agent you will oversee management of site staff operatives and sub-contractors.

Responsibilities:

* Provide method statements, hazard risk assessments and Project Management plans

* Understand the tender allowances and monitor contract costs against agreed budgets - company financial reporting

* Preparing and monitoring programmes of work

* Manage design co-ordination

* Assessment and engagement of sub-contractors

* Inform, consult and involve local groups as necessary

* Promote and ensure all work complies with safety, quality and environmental policies and the requirements of the company procedures

* Understand and administer contract change

What do we need from you?

* Experience working with NEC forms of contract

* Significant civils experience including earthworks, drainage, structures and flood defences

* Relevant qualifications - (HND/HNC/BEng)

* Previous experience as a Site Agent or Site Manager

* SMSTS

* CSCS

* Temporary Works Coordinator

* Cranes Appointed Person

* First Aid at Work

* Full UK Driving License
