Estimator - Fit Out / Joinery / Shop Fitting

Location: Sutton in Ashfield

Immediate Start for the right candidate

Full-time, Permanent Position

Salary - £40,000 to £55,000 (DOE)

Up Front Recruitment is looking for a highly experienced Fit Out Estimator ideally with joinery experience with the desire to work for a very reputable company. A fantastic company with a great reputation within the construction industry, they are looking to take on a new Fit Out Estimator. The starting salary will depend upon experience.

As an estimator, you will work both individually and as part of a team, taking a tender from initial enquiry to final submittal. You will apply a high level of consideration and care to provide a professional standard of work.

Ideal Areas of Experiences in Estimating Fit Out Projects:

* Corporate

* Museums

* Restaurants

* Retail

Key responsibilities not limited to:

· Preparing tenders, estimates and cost plans all while meeting the client's time-frames

· Understanding architect drawings/specifications

· Preparation of costs sheets, including quantity take-offs, and the completion of project

BOQ

· Final submission of the project estimate and supporting documentation

· Develop relationships with suppliers in order to assist with cost requirements.

· Identifying value engineering opportunities in order to keep quotes competitive.

· Communicating with clients on tender status.

· The responsibility of presenting project handover meetings.

· Maintain accurate information regarding suppliers, sub-contractors & clients.

· Working closely with the design team to navigate any flaws/improvements and assist with potential solutions.

· Relevant experience in the construction industry - Such as Estimating Fit Out Projects

· Excellent level of attention to details and organisational skills.

· Ability to work to deadlines and provide a high standard of work while doing so.
