A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Health & Safety & Environment (HSE) Manager to take the lead in fostering a culture of safety and compliance within a growing manufacturing business. This role is pivotal in ensuring regulatory adherence, enhancing workplace safety, and driving continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental practices.

Key Responsibilities

* Champion a proactive safety culture across the business, ensuring best practices are embedded at all levels.

* Develop, implement, and refine HSE management systems, policies, and risk assessments.

* Deliver engaging training sessions and coaching to empower teams with a strong safety mindset.

* Conduct thorough audits, inspections, and incident investigations, driving preventive measures.

* Collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders to influence HSE strategy and compliance.

* Monitor environmental impact and sustainability efforts, ensuring best practices are met.

What You'll Need

* At least 5 years of experience in a Health & Safety role within manufacturing or production.

* Comprehensive knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 standards.

* A relevant NEBOSH, IEMA, or equivalent qualification (CMIOSH is highly desirable).

* A strong track record of implementing safety improvements and influencing senior stakeholders.

* Experience in leading HSE training, coaching, and employee engagement initiatives.

* A full UK driving license is essential.
