Working from a well established manufacturing facility that is part of a larger group, in a critical role focusing on managing reliability and overall site engineering capabilities. 

The Role 

Reporting to the General Manager
Responsible for the site engineering function covering both the management of the day to day reactive maintenance as well as planned maintenance activity.
You will be responsible for delivering against operational needs as well as providing a first class service to internal customers.
You will promote best practice with an emphasis on delivering results through the effective management of your team.
You will facilitate and co-ordinate all of your teams activities and offer support for their own development.

Your Experience

An apprentice trained or qualified engineer and have experience of managing an engineering team in a manufacturing environment.
A flexible and hands on approach to people management is essential.
If required you should be happy to step in and support your team.
You will be able to demonstrate accountability and effective delivery of goals and have broad engineering skills and a passionate approach that will inspire your team.
A self-motivated individual with high energy levels, you can calmly react to unexpected business demands to achieve the desired results
