Our client, a leading consultancy in the water sector, is currently seeking a Commissioning Engineer to join their Infrastructure - Water North team. This permanent, full-time position requires BPSS pre-employment security clearance and offers you an opportunity to be an integral part of the Project Team.

Key Responsibilities:

Reviewing tender documentation and preparing submission documentation related to commissioning and handover on tenders
Assisting in comprehensive commissioning reviews at the design stage
Preparing commissioning procedures, plans, and strategies
Liaising with Project Teams, Building Services Managers/Engineers, Clients, Consultants, and Services Sub Contractors
Attending commissioning meetings and reviewing sub-contractor commissioning method statements
Preparing progress and status reports while highlighting potential issues
Visiting sites prior to commissioning to ensure readiness
Organising and facilitating Client/Consultant witnessing of successful commissioning
Collating all mechanical and electrical commissioning documentation for O&M manuals
Addressing commissioning/snagging issues post practical completion throughout the defects liability period

Job Requirements:

Good communication skills and personable nature
Knowledge of commissioning
Good computer skills
Willingness to travel
Proactive and can-do attitude
SMSTS safety qualification and CSCS card
Professional qualification is desirable
