Overview:

The Corporate Actions Delivery Team Supervisor has responsibility for the oversight and handling of all aspects of processing, checking and reporting, including validating and providing analysis information for client companies and / or advisors as required across multiple types of Corporate events.

The role holder is also responsible for the supervision of the Administrators in the Corporate Actions Delivery Team, ensuring the required deliverables for all Corporate Events are met and staffing needs managed.

The role is based on a hybrid basis from our city centre office in Leeds, but for the first 6 months will require full time attendance in the office for training purposes.  It is 37 ½ hours per week with occasional overtime possibly being required.

What you need:

•    Fantastic planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage your own time and the time of your direct reports when required

•    PC literacy, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Access

•    Strong leadership skills, in addition to the ability to work well as part of a team

It would be nice to have:

•    Relevant business exams, such as IOC, ICSA, or IAQ would be advantageous and highly regarded

Day to Day you will:

•    Lead a team of Administrators who are responsible for processing the day-to-day tasks undertaken by the Delivery Team

•    Support the smooth running and daily operation of the Delivery Team, ensuring that the required standards and deadlines are met and all procedures are followed to enable departmental objectives to be achieved

•    Ensure all tasks are carried out in a timely manner and by the required deadline, whether it be processing documents on the last day or ensuring that entitlements are posted on the due date

•    Ensure all tasks are carried out and completed in accordance with both current procedures and the relevant regulatory requirements 

•    Provide leadership, guidance and supervision to the Delivery Team, escalating problems, incidents and breaches to the Manager immediately upon discovery

•    Ensure all processing and administration with the department is completed as per the agreed timescales and in accordance with the relevant departmental procedures

•    Maintain a pro-active approach to training in order to meet both personal and departmental training objectives, in addition to ensuring you and the team complete your mandatory training objectives

•    Undertake new starter inductions, training and monthly probation reviews for new team members

•    Undertake monthly one-to-one meetings and mid-year / annual appraisals with all direct reports, covering performance, development, progression and objectives

•    Support the management team with any designated projects
