Teaching Assistant – SEMH SchoolAre you a qualified Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity to provide dedicated support for children struggled to engage with education? This SEMH school is looking to add a Teaching Assistant to the team to provide 1-2-1 support for a Key Stage 2 child with SEMH needs. This role requires a Teaching Assistant who has previous experience supporting children with challenging behaviours and can break down social and academic barriers.This school is a supportive and nurturing setting that provides children with an outstanding education and makes them feel nurtured and supported. As a Teaching Assistant at this school, you will be working closely with a team of experienced Teachers, Teaching Assistants and pastoral staff to provide children with the best support possible.  Strong behaviour management and communication skills are essential for this Teaching Assistant position. Job Role:
  • Supporting challenging behaviours on a 1-2-1 and group basis.
  • Working as a Teaching Assistant supporting student progress.
  • Acting as a positive role model for pupils.
  • Delivering 1-2-1 intervention sessions focused on communication and behaviours.
  • Helping students to reengage with education.
