Role: Finance Manager

Salary: £27,000-£34,000 (DOE)

Location: Widnes

Schedule: Weekdays Monday-Friday

Summary:

The successful candidate will report directly to the Managing Director and be responsible for all aspects of the company's book-keeping.

Responsibilities

* Maintain the purchase and sales ledger to include credit control and ensuring payments are made to suppliers within their payment terms.

* Bank account reconciliation.

* Reconciliation and submission of VAT return.

* Provide the company's external accountant with the trial balance for the production of the monthly management accounts.

* Compile staff time records and calculate any holiday pay due for processing.

* Preparing and posting journals as required.

Experience

* Experience of Sage software essential.

* You must have a sound knowledge of all aspects of book-keeping and accounting as you will be required to manage the role with little support or supervision.

* Looking for a minimum of 5 years experience.

* Qualifications: A-Level or equivalent
