Carbon60 are looking for a Mechanical Assembler to work for a manufacturing and maintenance water technology company based in Peterborough. This is a 6 month contract with the possibility of extension.

We are looking for a Mechanical Assembler to work for a successful water technology and solution company who have been building their company since 1999. We are looking for a mechanically bias individual with experience in mechanical assembling working with pumps and piping.

Responsibilities:

Working on different types of water treatment equipment
Mechanical assembly and maintenance of water treatment systems
Adherence to Health and Safety policies
Ensure all equipment is maintained and production cycle times and reworks are processed in an effective and timely manner
Work from technical drawings
Required Skills and experience

Mechanical/ electrical assembly experience
NVQ 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
Ability to follow detailed technical drawings
Willingness to learn new skills
Desire to gain counterbalance or C+E articulate truck licences
Willingness to gain a qualification in first aid
Working hours for this position will be Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:45. This Mechanical Assembler role offers a good PAYE hourly rate.
