Managing Quantity Surveyor - Renewable Energy Sector
Location: Bristol, South West England - Flexible hybrid working with site visits across the UK as required

The Company:

A leading company in the renewable energy sector, specializing in high-voltage infrastructure and turnkey solutions, is looking to expand its team. This company is known for delivering large-scale projects within the renewable energy space, including significant battery energy storage systems. The Role:

We are seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will take on key responsibilities including:

* Commercial management of a portfolio valued at approximately £25 million per annum.

* Negotiating contracts and managing financial project reporting.

* Leading pre-contract agreements, letters of intent (LOIs), and subcontract negotiations.

* Overseeing the financial administration of contracts, including invoicing and cash flow management.

* Mentoring junior surveyors and supporting their development.

* Participating in regular project and workflow meetings, while implementing business improvements.

* Ensuring timely delivery of commercial objectives across multiple projects.

The Person:

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management (or equivalent) and a proven track record in similar roles, ideally in civils, groundworks, or high-voltage electrical projects. A strong understanding of construction contracts (FIDIC/NEC) is required, as well as experience in budget and cashflow management. You will need to demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills, along with advanced proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel) and the ability to quickly adapt to bespoke systems.

Rewards:
