Job Title: Financial Controller- Construction
Location: Reading, UK
Salary: Negotiable
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
* Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
* Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
* Conduct regular financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
* Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate cost tracking and financial management of projects.
* Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
* Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures.
* Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience as a Financial Controller, preferably within the construction industry.
* Proficiency in SAGE 50 and other relevant financial software.
* Strong Excel skills, including advanced functions and data analysis.
* AAT Level 3 and 4 qualifications.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
