We currently employ a team of 140+ employees, working from our London office or remotely, as well as a growing number of flexible remote workers in our interviewing services team.

About the role

The role sits within our Data Services team and reports into our Head of Data Services. The team is in the UK and largely remotely based though we welcome you to be based out of our London office or work hybridly as you prefer.

As the Data Services (DS) Executive you’ll work directly with the research team, on a variety of projects dealing with varied data, using different, relevant software. You’ll receive specs from the research team and work on all phases of the data services process which includes sampling (Excel respondent data) and analysis (Data reduction in Merlin and SPSS). You’ll work to deadline and budget, building relationships with the research teams and providing timely outputs.

You’ll work primarily autonomously but will also help with adhoc demands from the DS team where needed. You’ll be able to develop your own style of working and delivery, building on your skills and experience, always with the support of your team.

Responsibilities

Administration

  • Manage Analysis projects as agreed.
  • Ensure all data outputs you process and distribute are accurate and as specified.
  • Ensure accurate outputs have been thoroughly checked and of the quality required.
  • Keep relevant teams updated with project progress by communicating openly, honestly and frequently with all departments within the company.
  • Present and explain all data clearly when required.

Team Work

  • Work effectively, and in partnership, with clients and suppliers (both internal and external.)
  • Proactively provide support for other departments and team members.

About you

We’re looking to develop someone, with full training provided in the software needed to succeed in this role.

You must be confident communicating and working with a range of people.

You must have a high level of competence with Excel in particular and computing in general and will be able to cite a range of software that you have experience with.

As you will work autonomously, you must be experienced managing your work and ensuring you are motivated to meet deadlines. You’ll be comfortable working with different people and be able to build relationships.

We have found that candidates who graduated with a data science/maths/engineering/computer science degree fair well in this position as do candidates with a high degree of numeracy skills.

We’re looking for someone who’s great with people, has excellent communication skills and is able to build relationships with key stakeholders and work collaboratively with other departments.
