SMarter Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Registered Manager for a Children's Home based in Derby.

We are looking for someone special for this rewarding role, as a chance to make a difference in a Young Persons Life.

The organisation is family run so you could be part of a close knit team that specialises in the Care and tailored needs to Young People with Complex needs, Autism, Challenging Behaviours and Trauma.

The organisation provides support and accomodation across the Northwest and Midlands.

Requirements -

Must have relevant qualifications and experience within this role prior(minimum 1 year experience).

This role requires a person with positive values and a good understanding of social work perspectives.

The role requires you to neurtue and guide both staff and clients and provide a positive enviroment.

Experience with working with Young People with Autism, Complex Needs, Trauma and Challenging Behaviour ( minimum 2 years experience)

Experience managing budgets.

Completion the level 5 diploma in leadership for health and social care and children and young people services in the children and young people's residentional management pathway.

Your Responsibilities -

* Supervising, Supporting and Managing the Care staff within the Children's Home.

* Reporting Directly to the relevant members ie, Area Manager, Operational Manager and Directors.

* Complete all administration duties ensuring the Childrens needs are met and they are happy to the best of your ability.

* On occasion be willing to take the on call and sleep in's etc.
