A great opportunity has arisen for a Process Engineer/Senior Process Engineer to join an established, privately owned semiconductor manufacturer, based in Fife, with a reputation for quality products and superior customer service.

They are looking for experience & expertise in the following areas for their CMOS and MEMS facilities: Etch - Dry/Plasma Etch, ideally LAM etchers, DRIE Etch, Plasma resist strip.

These are diverse roles that will require the right candidates to have a strong technical aptitude developed in the semiconductor market sector.

You will be responsible for:
 Working with cross functional teams to ensure best process engineering practices are maintained (reporting, documentation systems, etc.)
 Providing production support
 Implementing new products and processes to meet project objectives.
 Improving Yields, 8D investigations, FMEA, SPC, Cp/Cpk improvements, 5S, Cost reductions and Lean manufacturing.
 Modifying existing processes and procedures to provide practical solutions and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
 Investigating and resolving process issues.

Experience and Skills

Industry experience as a Process Engineer / Senior Process Engineer working in a similar role is essential.

You will be a highly qualified individual educated to degree level, or equivalent. With a number of years experience, you may be in a shift process role now and looking for the next move in your career, but more likely you would have already had a couple of years experience in your current role and are now looking for a new challenge. You will certainly need to be an accomplished and effective communicator, a decisive data-driven person with the ability to effect change and the tenacity and passion for continuous improvement.

Office hours - Monday to Thursday 7.30 a.m. - 4.00 p.m. and Friday 7.30 a.m. - 1.00 p.m
