JHE & Partners are delighted to be working alongside a well-established business in Shipley as they look to appoint an accountant on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business, where you will be influential in financial decision-making and improving / streamlining existing processes. Overseeing a small and well-established finance team, you will oversee all areas of the accounts function. The client is looking for someone who is happy to roll their sleeves up; from processing invoices to preparing / producing the management accounts. The business has a lovely culture, is family-owned and debt free where all areas of the business work as one.

Duties include:

• Monthly management accounts, prepayments and accruals
• Monthly cashflow forecasting
• Producing year-end statements
• Ledger maintenance and reconciling accordingly
• Bank reconciliations
• VAT returns
• Oversee small finance team
• Working with external auditors
• Close liaison with senior leadership team

Person specification:

• Experience in a similar role, producing accounts
• Comfortable working closely with senior team
• Good IT skills including SAGE
• Live within a commutable distance to Shipley

Salary on offer will pay up to £45,000 + bonus. Please note this is strictly an office role, with no hybrid working.
