About the Role:

Ivy Resource Group is seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our team as a 1-2-1 Year 11 Mentor. This role involves working closely with a very challenging Year 11 male student with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and complex needs, who sometimes exhibits erratic behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1-2-1 support to the student during the first four lessons each morning.
• Engage the student in afternoon activities such as football and gym sessions.
• Drive the student to various activities, ensuring safety and supervision at all times.
• Develop and implement strategies to manage and support the student's behaviour and learning needs.
• Foster a positive and encouraging environment to help the student achieve his academic and personal goals.

• Requirements:

• A strong background in sports or a sporty personality.
• Experience working with students with ASD and complex needs.
• Patience, resilience, and excellent communication skills.
• A valid driver's license and business insurance to transport the student.
• Ability to work full-time until July 25, when the student finishes exams.
