The Role: As an Accounts Semi-Senior, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, providing essential support to the senior management team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to advance their career in accountancy within a dynamic practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of year-end accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients, including limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.
• Assisting in the preparation of VAT returns.
• Supporting clients with bookkeeping services and resolving any queries.
• Supporting junior team members with training and development.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Contributing to ad-hoc projects as required by the practice.

Requirements:

• AAT part qualified/qualified, or part-qualified ACCA/ACA (or QBE).
• Minimum of 2 years' experience working within an accountancy practice.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn.
