Description

• Managing and coordinating the entire cost accounting function.
• Analysing and reporting on cost variances.
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Collaborating with the finance team to prepare budgets and forecasts.
• Identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Participating in internal and external audits as required.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department.

Profile

A successful Cost Accountant should have:

• Studying towards CIMA/ACCA/ relevant degree/ professional qualification in Accountancy.
• An understanding and experience in cost accounting.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong communication and team working skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
